Munnar is a hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 5,200 ft above sea level. It was the month of August & was my birthday too
(on 8th August). Munnar is real beauty of South India and it turns more beautiful in monsoon season.
I reached
Pallivasal at about 4 PM which was about 4-5 hours from Athirapilly & decided to stay in a tree house
(Estate Residency,2nd Mile, Pallivasal) which was 10 km before Munnar. The owner of this guest house were very gentle and owned a big farm of cardamom & other Indian spices, I bought some of these next day at a very cheaper rate.
At night, I enjoyed a local traditional show named as
Kalarippayattu (Punarjani) which happens daily in a local theater.
