Oldest Buddhist Monastery in Leh Ladakh which is approx 75 Km from Leh Town which is less known in tourists and is generally not being covered in Leh Ladakh tour packages. This place is really beautiful and comes under Indian hertiage & Archaeological Survey of India. This is preserved since 12th and early 13th centuries & has not been renovated into modern design. Alchi is the name of the village & is really awesome.
The monastery complex has three major shrines: The Dukhang, Sumtseg and the Temple of Manjushri. There are less photos as photography was not allowed inside the temple.
